Utilise Your Phone's Main Camera
The device is used to monitor the shot from the smartphone's main rear lens instead of the front camera. The image is transmitted directly to the external display located near the lens. This method delivers high resolution and better dynamic range for the final video recording. The user maintains direct eye contact with the camera's optics. The display offers a 0–180° viewing angle and a brightness of 400 nits, which can be adjusted in 3 levels for good readability in sunlight.
Wireless Connection
Image transmission is based on a direct P2P connection in the 5.8GHz wireless band with a frequency range of 5,180–5,825MHz. The system does not require a connection to a Wi-Fi network or the download of external software. The device uses the phone's built-in screen sharing function for instant pairing. Transmission works immediately after switching on the monitor, which has a transmitter power of 20dBm. The device shows high connection stability with iPhones, but does not support Google Pixel models.
Magnetic Mounting System
The monitor attaches to the back of the phone using integrated magnets. The 11×6.5×1.3cm design fully supports the MagSafe system. For phones without this technology, the package includes a self-adhesive magnetic ring that you can stick onto the body of your smartphone. The attachment does not require mechanical clamps or additional screws. You can also attach the device to any other metal surface in your recording space.
Display Options
The display supports both portrait and landscape image rotation depending on the phone's orientation. You can switch between modes by pressing a single button directly on the device's body. The user can activate mirror view or full screen to check the composition. Settings can be changed without interrupting the ongoing recording. The set also includes a wireless remote control with a range of up to 10 metres for remote shutter release or video recording.
Smooth Transmission and Signal Range
The signal delay starts at 40ms, reducing latency between movement and display. The wireless connection works at a distance of up to 50 metres with a direct line of sight. The transmission works even over long distances outdoors and in larger indoor spaces. The connection remains stable even when the camera operator is moving. The device operates in temperatures from -20 to +70°C, so it can withstand use in both winter and summer.
Power and Battery Life
The integrated 3.7V, 1,300mAh lithium-ion battery provides power for 3 hours of operation. The battery's energy is 4.81Wh and charging requires a DC 5V/2A power input via the USB-C interface. The device supports being powered from an external source during filming. The monitor also has a built-in 85dB speaker, with 3 adjustable volume levels, for instant audio checks.
