The light works without any issues and is easy to place on the monitor.
Pairing with the Yeelight app is dreadful. Actually, pairing in general. To activate pairing (and reset the light), you have to unplug and plug it back into the power source 5x. Extremely awkward. I had to set up a separate 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, then it works fine, but from a user perspective, this shouldn't be necessary. Highly user-unfriendly. For some reason, the light also can't be controlled outside the local network via the Yeelight app. Through Apple Home etc. it can.
The package included a USB-A to USB-C power cable. I don't understand why they still make things like this.
I was a bit disappointed by the ambient lighting, it's rather weak. And if I also have a webcam on the monitor, I have to choose between the light or the webcam. It's the same with other lights, but still.
