Nice design, works well with the case
Pretty good display (resolution, smoothness, colors), but very poor contrast and IPS glow
Good sound system using dolby and surround sound (not on by default, why? )
Good specs on paper (unfortunately the processor is not very up to date anymore)
Extremely unfinished OS
You can't change the layout or the size of the icons and a lot of basic settings in the launcher (is that really Xiaomi? )
Can't connect to phone via BT, it pairs but won't connect.
The UI is very inconsistent and sometimes it crashes. The layout is terrible. Some of the items are unnecessarily too big, so not much fits on the giant screen.
The dynamic frequency of the display hardly works at all. The frequency will only decrease if there is nothing moving on the screen at all, which is completely useless.
When playing 30/60 fps video, the display runs at 144 Hz, which means 2x higher battery consumption, completely unnecessarily (tested, measured directly in the system).
Xiaomi doesn't respond to feedback, they rarely fix or improve anything after the device is already released.
For the price I would expect a much better user experience, there are zero SW improvements over the Pad 6 at half the price.
