After using the Xiaomi 17T for a while, I’ve really come to love it, and I have to say that, overall, it’s a brilliant device. It’s the perfect size, fits brilliantly in your hand, doesn’t feel like a giant paddle, and is therefore comfortable to handle. I also like its overall exterior design, which gives a very elegant and premium impression. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the camera, which takes beautifully sharp photos with vibrant colours even in low light – see the attachment – and I was absolutely blown away by the ability to record dual videos, which is a brilliant feature when you want to capture both the scene and your own reaction at the same time. Overall, the phone performs incredibly well and everything runs beautifully smoothly without any lag, thanks in part to the battery’s excellent life, so as far as I’m concerned, it’s a superbly balanced mobile that offers great value for money.

I’ve only been using the phone for a short while, but what I’d highlight are the battery life, the great photos and the phone’s design. The only problem I’ve had so far was copying data from my old phone, but I managed to do that on my second attempt.
An excellent camera considering the phone’s price; I own the 14T and the 17T’s telephoto lens is significantly better (correcting an error in my previous review). The pack also includes a phone case; it’s a universal black one, neither transparent nor matching the colour of the phone. Just for your information.
I’m happy with the phone. I read through lots of reviews and comparisons before I decided to buy it. It takes brilliant photos and is on a par with more expensive phones. Plus I like the color. Overall, the phone is very well-made; it has a stunning display with high brightness and sharp detail. The camera is absolutely brilliant; I can even compare it to the higher-end 17T Pro model, and I actually think the colour reproduction is slightly better on the cheaper model. Otherwise, the 5x zoom is the same. For its price range, it really does take more than just very good photos. A brilliant phone – I’d recommend it
The event was brought to an early close without prior notice. So the order went ahead on the understanding that I’d receive a tablet as a gift; I only wrote the review after trying out the phone, and unfortunately… I would have expected a different approach
