Bought two for my kids desk and they are more than happy. In addition to the lamp function, where you can change the temperature and intensity of the light, the base also lights up. This one is also equipped with a wireless charger, RGB light and a USB connector on the back for another cable. In the leg of the lamp there is also a display showing the current time, including the alarm and the room temperature (this shows about 1.5 *C more than it actually is). The display is very bright, but can be dimmed at night by simply holding the off button. I'm considering buying another one, just for myself, for my desk.
