I admit I expected more from Victorinox. Resp. I was expecting a "perfect" product, and this knife is not it. It lacks only one feature - the blade is too thin (I have no idea why), so it bends when slicing.
In many cases it doesn't matter, but in others it does. For example. when I want to cut a hard carrot or a larger potato lengthwise, it is a struggle, especially in the "forest conditions" for which I bought the knife. Škoda.
I still recommend the knife and I have not found a more handy one for outdoor cooking purposes. I like the fact that it is foldable, it has a well-designed wavy blade that does not need to be sharpened and is razor sharp, and it has a round tip that is great for picking up leftover mustard, barbecue sauces, jams, and is also better for spreading bread, etc. The size seems just right.
That is one of the great knives for camping. For those who like a good bread on the way :)
