As long as the drive was working, there was nothing to complain about apart from it getting hot, but after four years of sporadic use, it broke down and the data on the drive can no longer be read. It’s likely that the device overheating – which occurs despite its metal casing – is to blame. Next time, I’ll look elsewhere.
I bought the 240GB version due to some overheated reviews, so I risked this capacity. But I haven' t noticed anything on my piece yet, not even any negatives. If I bought again I would probably take a risk and go to the 480GB version. This disc looks to be well made and yet small in size. It arrived formatted to FAT32, so I just reformatted to NTFS and weakly as a watch.
