I bought various CAT6 UTP cables. On a 6.1mm cable it fits loosely, but it's not exactly flapping about. On a 6.6mm cable, it takes a bit of force. I wouldn't try to cram a much thicker one in there.
It can also be fitted onto a 6.6mm cable.
