Really? What are gold-plated connectors for in a fiber optic cable?!
What else can I write about it? Not much, audio transmission the same as HDMI.
The cable conducts the signal virtually flawlessly, unlike the original optical fiber that came with the speakers. The connector fits reliably in the TV, but it wobbles a lot in the speaker (but doesn't fall out). As I subsequently learned, this is a feature rather than a flaw with toslink.
Gold-plated end caps: It doesn't affect the "conductivity" of the light, of course, but gold doesn't corrode, it's solid, and it's a good dry lubricant, so it doesn't mind frequent rewiring so much.
Very flexible; it doesn't make a typical spiral out of the box.
It's working great.

It's working. Transmission characteristics cannot be routinely assessed. I don't know if it's a defect of this cable or a feature of these connectors in general, but they are hard to insert (find the position) and even with a lot of force they slide out. I don't put in minuses, it's my first optocable, so I don't know.
