Good assembly thanks to the unscrewable part that comes on the wall. There is thus room for screwing screws into dowels. The entire suspension is oversized to carry an acoustic guitar. It bends a little when I do it, but it's still good, I'm not worried about it. In case you have naughty kids at home who would be tempted to hang onto the guitar, I recommend similar branded hangers in music stores, only once as expensive. These are designed with a large weight reserve. That's what my other guitar hangs from.

I just screwed this into the wall. The holder is well padded, 3 screws make a secure fix to the wall but the metal rod that connects the holder to the wall mount feels like it has some flex in it. Time will tell if it's strong enough. I think it could look better and the build quality could be better.
