For its size, the Steam deck is surprisingly powerful, I can play my favourite older games on it, but also newer, more demanding games, not on the highest graphics, but that was expected. I like the ability to switch to desktop mode, where you can do anything on a (Linux) computer.
It's nice that I can add apps and programs I install on Linux to Steam and then run them in normal Steam deck mode.
I stopped playing games on my desktop comp. This is really top for me!

Just what I needed. I often spend time on business trips and for the evenings this is just what I needed. I wouldn't play the most demanding games at all (Cyberpunk, etc. ), but that's not why I bought this, I have a PS5 at home for that. I just bought this to catch up on Fallout, Assassin's creed, Half-life etc. I was worried because of the size if after a while it would be uncomfortable because of the weight, but the opposite is true and even after hours of playing I did not feel any fatigue in my hands. For me, if you're not counting on playing the latest AAA titles, you'll be very happy.
