I was considering Synology and I'm glad I chose Unraid. I don't rate the built-in OS, which more or less copies Synology, I didn't try that at all and installed Unraid right away.
Probably thanks to him everything runs like clockwork, fast, reliable and lots of features. I mainly use it for photos with Immich and media, all great.
I recommend adding SSDs as cache drives, then the write/read is lightning fast too, I added RAM as well, but it's not needed for normal use.

Probably the best NAS you can buy at this price. If you want a home server, Synology will NEVER be on the same level. UGREEN is not just a NAS, it's really a server that you can use for various Docker applications (PiHole, Jellyfin, Nextcloud, etc. )
