I bought the product based on reviews, but I didn't know that Ubiquity was part of a whole family of products and that the company supports it in their proprietary app environment. If you don't want to commit to existing under these conditions, you'd better look elsewhere. I have an iPhone X, but there's no official app for it anymore. The application I could install on my Mac could only set the device as ACCESS POINT, but I need the device in BRIDGE mode. I eventually solved it by reflashing the software, so the warranty is gone, but at least now it works as I needed it to for the money.

setup is only done in a dedicated app that's only for certain versions of iOS and Android, so if you have older versions, you won't even get a tick.
