worked right out of the box and connected via POE
is managed over the internet via an app (smartphone) + cloud (web)
without the internet you can't get into the device settings - at least I haven't figured out how - the local management site either doesn't exist at all - or would only appear after activation through a smartphone app or the web.
if it doesn't have local management even after "registration", you can't even change the settings without internet.
