When I opened the box, I was thrilled. Then I found out it was all plastic. I figured maybe that's how it's done nowadays. The next day I made coffee in it and went to work. Within an hour, the coffee was iced. So as it says here, the thermo is definitely not: -/ But otherwise it's very nice.
