The installation frame only serves to keep the glass in the middle. It's a pretty good idea, relatively speaking. Unfortunately, I encountered probably a manufacturing defect. On the left side in the place where the installation help film ends, two bubbles are made from the edge of about 2-3mm into the display and about 4mm in height. It's like the glass is slightly bent or there's no glue in that spot. Second try the same thing in the same place. Looks like a manufacturing defect. No it's not dirt or a bad display, I have some experience with that already. So in the end I had to buy another glass from another manufacturer.
