The paperboy is sneaky in volume. It fills up to 2/3 max, so 9l is actually 6l of content. We bought the pot based on the realization that when we cook broth, a 5L pot filled with meat and vegetables filled to the max with water would not give enough for our family with two kids. We have an electric crock pot that is just small in comparison, this model with the built in timer is great with one exception - it can't turn itself off the gas stove it's on. So bomb, you don't need to put something to cook and leave. The instructions also talk about heating the cooker to full power and when the valve closes, the power to the hob is halved, which again means someone has to attend to it. Washing the pot is easy, it is all stainless steel. The only criticism I would have of the manufacturer is that there is a lot of space under the plastic parts on the outside of the lid, where you can't mechanically get to. But that doesn't spoil my overall impression. So goulash for a while and soften, but not to boil it to mush. I'm sure.
the pot does not have a ridiculous diameter and fits on the stove
opening with one hand
relatively easy to clean
works as it should
the seal is identical to the 5l and 7,5l pots and they have it everywhere, even here (Tefal X1010007 Seal)
you can't see inside when cooking, but that's the way it is with papillons.
