I was expecting more, but I got a typical product of today, where design beats functionality. The kettle is spectacularly backlit, but the quality is poor and uneven and it doesn't look good. After the first boil of unfiltered water, the kettle is immediately full of limescale and the appearance is appalling. It is also poorly designed with regard to water leakage. Anything under 0.5 litres almost doesn't want to flow out of the kettle, so water and energy are wasted. The plain old plastic Tefal Express is a 100 times better product.
