Our previous steam generator was a Philips, so we wanted to try a different brand because it was a better price with more power compared to the Philips. So far, I perceive the disadvantage that I have to put the iron in an upright position when changing the laundry (as all irons used to be). The previous Philips model lay normally on the board and did not burn the board. So the iron was less manipulated (it was always in the working position). In addition, the Philips iron surface was colder than the Tefal. The surface area of this iron can be burned. The first time I iron, I iron towels and then when I start ironing a delicate blouse I have to let off steam before I put the iron on the blouse so I don't burn it. This was not a problem with Philips (due to the colder surface). We'll see after longer use.
