Still, it didn't deter me from buying it. And those were the 3 main reasons: steaks are great, he washes the plates, doesn't mess around when he works. If they'd tweak those minuses, it would be a top grill. Meat for burgers beware - minced meat must be cooked inside - bacteria are not only on the surface of minced meat but also inside. Not so with steak. So you really don't want a medium rare with a ground one and you have to leave it longer even if the machine says it is overheating. This program is not fine-tuned at all. And the grind can be 1-2cm high, it doesn't matter. It calculates it by about 30-120 seconds according to the toothpick.

And there is no sound signal for this step. So the steak is done for a minute without a program. It is necessary to confirm OK after each insertion and wait until the meat is measured. One mistake and the meat is gone.

Compared to the smaller version, the XL version has virtually no accessories - I would appreciate, for example, the waffle attachment, which is missing, but if you look at the price of the attachment in the smaller version, you could get a decent waffle maker for that price. The grill also has more of a slope, with some food sliding down the grill onto the drip pans. Overall, the grill is practical, the most disappointing are the no accessories and the prone surface.
