I bought the bulbs because I have old wiring and no way to use a dimmer switch. That's why I purchased dimmable bulbs that have extra RGB colors. If you're only playing with shades of white, the full luminosity can be used and is sufficient. Any color is just decorative, the luminosity is rapidly reduced and it is certainly not usable n lighting at work (there are exceptions of course, but I could not publish it: )).
When switched to RGB color mode, the bulbs glow like fairy lights, as if the brightness is at 10% of white light.
