BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU BUY! What Nintendo is telling you is that the Super Mario Party Jamboree Switch 2 version harnesses the full power of the Nintendo Switch 2 system with an improved frame rate and high resolution. What Nintendo didn't tell you is that this only applies to Jamboree TV DLC content, which is only playable on its own. Everything that isn't part of Jamboree TV has remained exactly as it is on the Nintendo Switch, which means only 720p resolution on the handheld among other issues. When I buy a game that has a giant "Nintendo Switch 2 Edition" sticker, I expect to play that game at full power with improved frame rate and resolution. But to my great surprise, that didn't happen. What this means is that there is no Nintendo Switch 2 edition involved. You're actually buying the exact same game in the exact same condition as the one year earlier edition. When you start the game, a menu appears (see attached photos below) that is very similar to the one from Super Mario 3D World. Again, you are choosing the "game". There are three options: Super Mario Party Jamboree, Jamboree TV, Gameshare. Now watch out: when you hover over Super Mario Party Jamboree, there's a "Nintendo Switch" sticker in the top left corner, as if they're telling you that this is simply a port of the game for Nintendo Switch. When you hover over the other option, Jamboree TV, that particular label changes to Nintendo Switch 2. That's proof enough for me that there's no misunderstanding and that Nintendo is serious. This is what you get. Even if you have a Nintendo Switch 2, buy the old game. The Switch 2 version is a real waste of money, as it doesn't make any use of the system and the DLC add-on is too small for 500kč. This is borderline cheating and if I wasn't a game collector, the lovely Jamboree for Switch 2 would have gone away.
