I bought a total of 3 sets of different sizes and despite the higher purchase cost, I don't regret it, it will pay for itself in time in unspent food. The jars are really well made, nothing you would throw away after half a year of use. Food really lasts in them. The tritan plastic used is neither staining nor sniffing and is easy to wash. We put cheese, salami, fruit, vegetables and pastries in them.
Really well made jars
Top lid does not bend after air extraction
Lighter than glass
Well stackable
You pay extra for quality
Manual vacuuming takes a while for larger volumes = you end up getting an electric vacuum anyway
