We have had 24 since Christmas and it plays perfectly at home or in the garden. We were surprised by the very hilarious design and bought a carabiner for it and take it with us on the go. I had a JBL before and I find this to be totally comparable quality for a lower price. I read somewhere that you can even pair up if you buy two. That's what we plan to do for those car trips.
