ANS is really very poor quality. You can hear the noise of the subway and the bus and children talking two rows away. The design looks very cheap, I expect it won't last very long. The sound could be much better. People write here that they are good for this price, but you can get much better headphones for this price. The soft leather earcups, although I prefer textile so well shield the surrounding noise. But not so that you can't hear anything at all - that's fine with me, I want to hear the doorbell, the knock on the door, etc. The headphones are decent but I definitely recommend installing the Sony Sound Connect app on your phone and tweaking the equalizer and updating the firmware there. Beware on both Windows and Linux the headset will switch to headset profile with poor sound quality after waking up from power save mode. This can be solved by disabling power save for the Bluetooth adapter.
