It doesn’t spill; when pouring (when using the all-glass section), the contents do not run down the outside surface
The lid (presumably designed for pouring – I had no intention of using it and don’t use it) consists of several parts held together by a screw. Even before unpacking it, it was clear that the screw tended to come loose. The thought that the internal ‘weight’ might fall out whilst pouring and break the carafe would put me off using the lid.
