This product would deserve 5 stars, but... As a SECOND – and I emphasise this – as a SECOND vacuum cleaner for the home and for use in the car, it really is one of the best in this price range, and if you look after it and its accessories properly, I’m confident it will last a long time. Of course, like all vacuum cleaners of this type, it requires slightly more power to pick things up, and as a result, the filter tends to become clogged more easily. And this is where the two major stumbling blocks begin. The filter must not be cleaned under water. It can only be cleaned dry using a brush, and replacement filters – whether original or compatible – simply cannot be found in any shop available in the Czech Republic. The second, slightly less significant problem is finding a compatible replacement charger, so Hadex – if it still exists – has that covered. I do get the impression, though, that the lack of those filters in particular is somewhat intentional on the manufacturer’s part, as it’s the product’s only Achilles’ heel.

It is absolutely impossible to find a replacement filter or a compatible alternative. If any of you know of one, and Alza doesn’t stop you, please post a link to the shop. (although it’s also supposed to be available on Alza)
A replacement – or rather, a standalone – charger. Well, it’s cleverly fitted into the charging dock, but you can’t take it out because the dock – even though it’s just a piece of plastic made up of two parts, held together at the bottom by four screws – can’t be taken apart, as it’s cleverly designed to prevent that.
