Nothing's getting too hot. I bought it thinking it wouldn't heat much. Rather, it just tempers. In addition, the temperature sensor is in the bottom right corner and of course the back wall heats up when you turn it on, so the temperature is distorted by 3 degrees or more. If the panel is mounted on the ceiling, I think the difference between the room temperature and the temperature on the indicator could be 10 degrees.

I have trouble keeping it running in reasonable temperatures, caused by the unfortunate temperature sensor, which is reading the same temp as the set temp in a few short minutes, even though the ambient temp is much lower. So I end up bumping the set temp higher and higher to keep it running longer, but the result is a higher ambient temperature if you are not actively babysitting it.
