Bought on special offer for under 1000, - but even at around 1200, - it’s still a good price. If you’re looking for a cheap fan that spins, blows a strong breeze and comes with a remote control – and you don’t mind if it’s a bit noisy at the lowest speed settings, even though it still blows a strong breeze at those speeds – then this is a great choice.
Personally, I can sleep even in a room where a 3D printer is running (now that’s what I call noise), so it doesn’t bother me.
However, what might bother some people or put them off is: There’s only a slight difference in speed – they’re practically the same; there’s no noticeable difference in noise or airflow. Even at the lowest speed setting, it’s quite a whirlwind and is also relatively loud. A few people here have mentioned a loud beeping sound whenever you change the settings using the remote control – I can confirm that, but as I don’t change the settings that often, it doesn’t really bother me that much. But it certainly isn’t quiet. Furthermore, someone here also mentioned the build quality as a negative point – I don’t agree with that. It’s decent enough for the price (at least the one I’ve got – the white version). Everything has fallen into place and there are no rough edges. I had a problem fitting the second grille and screwing it in place, but this was caused by the plastic ‘ring’ on one half of the grille having ‘shifted’; once it had clicked into the correct position, the two grilles fitted together and I was able to screw them in place. It probably shifted during transport or whilst being handled in the warehouse. I don't know. If I hadn’t realised that, it looks as though the grilles are all different and don’t fit together.
A few customers have posted here saying they had a problem with it, or that they didn’t even install the second grille. I reckon it was caused by the same ‘problem’ that I had and successfully sorted out. Two Phillips-head screwdrivers are required for assembly: a PH2 for the grille and a PH3 for tightening the top to the extendable leg – ideally. But even with the PZ2/PH2, you could cobble both together.: -) Given the purchase price, everything I’ve described is acceptable to me.
Easy to assemble (if you’ve ever put one together before, you won’t need the instructions)
Remote control
Stable thanks to its heavy base
A loud beep when changing the settings
The lowest setting could blow significantly less
A slight difference between wind force 1 and 3
inability to switch off horizontal rotation oscillation using the remote control
Night mode doesn’t make much sense; it’s noisy and blows quite a lot
I bought it as a best seller. Well, it's really humming a lot, but it's also blowing a lot. Pretty much unusable for an apartment due to its inability to reduce the speed, the 1-2 speed and Sleep are all pretty much the same. But I can imagine the product in a rentcar office somewhere in the Mediterranean, it would probably be OK there.
performance - even on the first stage it blows a lot
design
stable (round base)
the remote control can be hung up
on higher levels it blows really very strongly, almost too much for a normal room
it would need more stages or control options, a light breeze won' t do it
night mode doesn' t make sense, it' s noisy
" breeze" mode is more like a gale
