The shape of the display is pre-cut on a larger rectangle. Unfortunately, the pre-cutting is not complete (only up to 2/3 of the thickness) and the shape of the display cannot be “peeled out“ from the rectangle (you can see a thin line, but the shape cannot be separated from the foil). This is typical for Chinese products, when after 4 months of production, the quality control fails - a poorly set machine / die cuts only scraps - I' m guessing that everyone from this production batch will have problems!
