Samsung Watch 8 (44 mm) surprised me. I didn't like the design much in the online photos, but when I picked them up and started wearing them, I changed my mind - they look interesting in person. They are very comfortable on the hand and I appreciate their small thickness. Performance and features are significantly better than the Watch 4, the difference is really noticeable. I hope they last a long time, because so far I'm happy with them. Battery life is a classic theme, doesn't impress, but for overnight stuff perfectly fine.
After 3 years with the Galaxy Watch 4, I switched to the Galaxy Watch 8 and the difference is huge. The AI features are really useful, the AI is lightning fast, everything responds instantly and the display is beautiful, big, sharp and readable even in the sunlight. I also like the thinner bezels and the new "squircle" design, which looks more modern and elegant. The battery is still not a miracle (that's a Samsung tradition) and the included strap makes my hand sweat more, but otherwise I'm happy - it's a big leap forward. I hope it will last at least another 3 years.

After much deliberation, I finally decided to forgo the mechanical lunette and switch from the Galaxy Classic 6 to the basic Watch 8. The new 8 Classic seemed too sedentary to me, and I never liked the Ultras and they didn't really fit well on my wrist. There aren't many changes from the previous watches, it is mainly a more subtle and lighter design, which is noticeable at night or when running. Then a smoother environment and perhaps more accurate sensors, which is hard to prove. I also like the new Run Coach and Gemini (instead of Assistant), but this change will come in time for older models.
A minor drawback is the inability to charge the watch due to the curved strap on desktop chargers, where the strap interferes with the watch sticking to the wireless coil. On the other hand, the watch fits better on the hand thanks to the bend. Thanks to the new clamping mechanism, however, there is no problem to remove the strap and charge the watch without the strap if necessary.
I don't like the standard strap, I found last year's Watch 7 strap more interesting in design.
Moving from the watch5 pro, these watches have a better design, are noticeably lighter and sit well on the hand, have a better, smoother and more legible display, AI features and battery life is about 2 and a half days. For the price on sale, it's a good buy. I recommend it.

I switched from the older Watch 5 and have no regrets. The watch finally comes with a new design, the system is beautifully smooth and the trend of today is AI features. With the discount, they're also a good price, so the upgrade was a no-brainer. The thorn in the side is the battery life, which we are probably already used to with Samsung watches.
I can say mostly positive things about the watch. The first thing that pleasantly surprised me was their speed of control. The design of both the watch itself and the app is also nice. All the mentioned functions work reliably in my opinion. Also nice is the supplied belt, the end of which does not get in the way when clamped, but is inserted. The only negative is their battery, which lasts about a day and a half.
Fits better in the hand thanks to a redesigned thinner bottom with sensors. I'm switching from the Watch5, which was much less comfortable and unnecessarily thick. I like the design better too, it's not a bland round style like a million other watches. Overall satisfaction.
