I have experience with previous S Ultra models and folders, so I wasn't expecting any "wow-effect" given the strong similarities, but the phone pleasantly surprised me. The slight rounding of the corners has helped the ergonomics both in the hold and especially in the pocket (it doesn't tear the pockets with sharp corners like the S24 or Fold 7), although the weight has dropped slightly, it's just somehow felt, the display and its privacy mode is a very functional and practical thing if one is moving between people after meetings or on the go, the battery is absolutely sufficient (I use the tablet and computer for work, so I can easily give two days without a charger) and the acceleration of charging is a big plus, admittedly I would have welcomed a magnet for charging and accessories directly in the body of the phone as in the Pixels, but the transparent case from Samsung is quite tasteful and works, I went back to using the Samsung Note with the s-pen and it is very practical, so for me there is a development in a good direction, it is not a leap, but the few practical tweaks convinced me.

After years on iOS, I decided to make a change and got the S26 Ultra. First day of use and impressions are very strong. The biggest shock is the display and the freedom of the system - that anti-glare layer on the display is something I've always missed on the iPhone, in the sunlight it's absolutely incomparable.
What I'm enjoying the most so far:
Display and design: The phone is huge, but the rounded edges make it hold better than I expected. The image quality is top-notch.
S Pen: I thought it was just crap, but after a few hours I find it's a brilliant tool for quick notes and photo editing.
System options: Android is somewhere else here than I remembered. I can customize everything, which is a refreshing change.
What I'm missing or annoyed about so far:
Data transition: The transfer from iOS isn't quite 100% smooth, I had to manually troubleshoot a few things.
Charging: Even though it's faster than the iPhone, I was still hoping for even more progress given the price.
Package: The lack of a charger in the package just annoys me for such an expensive phone, it is unfortunately the same mischief at Apple.
Conclusion:
If anyone is hesitant about switching from an iPhone, the S26 Ultra is probably the best possible machine to start with. It's not as "bug-proof" as iOS, but the freedom and hardware is worth it. So far I have no regrets and I'm learning to live with it
I switched from an older model (S23+) and chose the Ultra variant this time mainly because of the higher quality camera and so far I'm happy. I would appreciate similar features in a smaller phone size so that it is easier to operate with one hand. Unfortunately, the phone is constantly forcing AI. I'll probably have to get a different case, because the simple Samsung case doesn't compensate for the protruding camera lens when you put it down and the phone "swings". The purple color is beautiful, but it still hides behind the cover (even behind a transparent one, it doesn't stand out as much). It's a pity that mobile phone manufacturers today are not more inventive when it comes to appearance.
Overall, after four days of use, I am very satisfied. The phone is fast, has a great display, awesome built-in AI, great camera and huge storage. I definitely don't regret the purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful and reliable phone.

This Samsung flagship is the absolute top of the line among mobile phones, in fact, probably the best phone on the market at the moment, with the Cobalt Violet colour variant looking really premium. In the Ultra version, it is absolutely uncompromising. Perfectly legible display in all lighting conditions, including the unique Privacy Display feature, which also works flawlessly. The performance of the phone is perfect, it handles absolutely everything at lightning speed. The integration of AI features is great, for example, the photo and video editing is amazing. Perhaps the only thing missing here compared to my old S21 Ultra is a 10x optical zoom, but this can be obtained by combining optical zoom and AI with perfect results; the advantage is a larger sensor. Completely impractical are the protruding camera lenses, so without a protective cover, it's virtually impossible to lay the phone flat without it wobbling.
I got the highest configuration with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage in the gorgeous Deep Asteroid Violet color and I have to say that the performance is absolutely uncompromising. The phone responds instantly to any stimulus, and even when I have dozens of apps open at once, thanks to 16 GB of RAM there is no slowdown. 1 TB of memory gives me complete freedom when it comes to shooting and recording in high resolution.
The big hit for me is the Privacy Display technology. It's very handy, the display is perfectly legible from a straight-on view only, while from an angle the picture is darkened so no strangers peek at my private messages. The enhanced aluminium design feels very premium, the phone feels lighter and it's very heat dissipative even during more demanding operations. The camera delivers top-notch results, especially night shots, and the telephoto detail is top-notch. For users who want the ultimate in modern technology and privacy, this is the obvious choice.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is an excellent machine. I'm switching to it from the Note10+. Privacy display is an interesting technology that gets its daily use. The only thing I'm sorry about is the S Pen without Bluetooth. And it is not "double-sided" so it depends on how you insert it into the mobile. The display, its resolution and colours are a big surprise.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra I am completely satisfied, despite its size. Switching from the s23 u was the obvious choice to a super-level Android phone.. The display is gorgeous, the colours are luxurious and everything is incredibly smooth. Shooting in the dark and at night makes a big difference and nice photos. The AI is great too. I haven't had time to explore all the features yet but for me it's a complete satisfaction. Now just learn to deal with it.
Great. Design-wise, I like it better than previous editions. The performance couldn't be better, you can tell. Innovative display, nice resolution. Wide choice of cameras and settings. Some AI features awesome, others more AI slop. I would appreciate a greater choice of colours, ideally if they were more varied. Lack of full CZ support, especially for AI features.
