I bought this machine as a replacement for a Karcher cleaner, which is bigger and more powerful, but it wasn't mine and I always had to borrow it, which I didn't want to do anymore. I wasn't expecting the same performance from this smaller machine, but I was pleasantly surprised. The performance is sufficient and it works very well. I can clean the carpets upstairs with it just like with the Karcher, and yes, it is more complicated because it doesn't have an extension pole, so you can't stand up, but otherwise it works the same. The dirty water tank is easy to empty and clean, it's just a shame that whoever designed this product didn't make the clean water tank just as easy to clean. If the lid came off like it does on the dirty water one, it would be much easier. The clean water tank doesn't need to be cleaned, but it's more about the fact that pouring out the excess water is quite complicated. This doesn't affect the quality of the cleaning itself, it's just that after you've finished, you have to find a way to let the tank dry out.
