If you're doing a reenactment and need a camera that isn't a fist in the eye I can only recommend this one, it looks period and it's on film. The quality of the photos is very good, except when it's dark, he doesn't like that very much. The strap that comes with it is pretty good quality, but it's too long for me. The material is plastic, but what to expect, for the money it's a good buy. I can definitely recommend this camera as a beginner.
