We had 18 years Sinclair dehumidifier which noise was 42dB. Comparing to declared 37 dB on this Rohanson, these 42dB sounds like 15dB. Our Sinclair was working 24/7. We had to switch off Rohanson after less than 4 hours as we couldn't bare the noise. Will return it and look for another model or brand. Pity as we really liked it.
