It would require a larger gap between the bulb socket and the lamp body to allow the hot air to escape easily. And the reflector could have been a little further away from the bulb and covered with a reflective coating.
Compared to some light bulbs in the socialist era, that's two classes down. Even a 75 W bulb could be safely screwed into them during socialism. And the arm was anchored much more solidly. It's probably fine for LEDs, but for full spectrum bulbs, I'm not sure if the plastic between the socket and the body is heat resistant enough. And if it's a ceramic sleeve, it could be thicker.
