I only use RJ45: They reliably click and do not destroy the contacts, the contact with the anti-contact is good on all pins.
This particular piece always messes up the plastic of the RJ45 connector on 1/3 of pin 8 towards the cable. It's only visible at high magnification. Fortunately, the socket always has a flexible contact, which is mainly on the front edge of the pin, so it doesn't matter that much.
I heard that the pliers can be adjusted somehow, but I don't know how - can anyone advise?
