Can comfirm USB4 40Gbps speed of 0.8 m cable on my MacBookPro M1 Pro with external SSD. Works fine. Connector not compatible with phone cases. So not ideal to use with smartphones.

The PremiumCord KU4CR12 cable is very stiff - it feels more like a thick hose than a regular USB-C cable when handled. Due to its massive construction (copper conductors, triple shielding and textile braiding) it bends badly and is not suitable where frequent connections or wiring in tight spaces is needed.
