I have two different ASB-A to USB-C cables of the same length. One I’ve had for a long time – I don’t know the manufacturer – and the other one is this one from Alza. I use the cable to connect my iPhone to my PC and to share my 5G internet connection. The cable from an unknown manufacturer achieves 280Mbps/60Mbps, whilst this one from Alza only manages around 80Mbps/70Mbps. I plugged both of them into the same USB port. I’ve no idea what’s causing it. I’ll be returning the cable.
