The 8k can't display fine, I get artifacts almost across half the screen, yet with the same hdmi cable I can get the 8k image from the rtx3090 over hdmi with no problems. At 4k, it also has an hdr problem

I finally came across a USB-C to HDMI converter that works in 4K@60. I don't have the opportunity to try 8K.

Unfortunately I have to return it because the apple macbook doesn't support 4k@120Hz, which is why I bought it in the first place. Even though I've connected it to a cable that is HDMI2.1 certified and I'm using it from a gaming PC, when connected to this reducer it doesn't offer 120Hz, only 60.
Small size
pliable cable
does not support 4k120Hz on apple macbook pro m1 pro.
