Great thing for connecting one device to two monitors. I can either turn on the projector or the monitor and not have to switch cables every time I use it. A power adapter for the socket is included in the package. However, it is not a problem to purchase a USB power cable.
I needed to connect a 4K projector to an AV receiver at the same time as a 4K TV with HDR10 support. It works without problems. The image quality remained unchanged. HDMI-CEC can be a problem, but I haven't tested it, I use Control4.
