On the other hand, it is the so-called rubber filling. The black end on the cap can be rubberized. The gumming works on the basis of heating by friction (hence the name “FriXion, according to the English friction - friction), it can be gummed by ironing, or restored by putting it in the freezer.
The design is all-plastic. Better liners have a writing tip guided in a metal tube. I am attaching photos of this pen next to a drawing liner of the same brand with a sample of the trace and also a sample of the rubberized trace. Horizontal lines are always created with the appropriate liner, stroke: the upper one slightly quickly, the middle one with pressure quickly and the very bottom (at the pen) with pressure slowly.
The price is quite favorable, if I don' t find them good for drawing, I will give them to children for drawing and writing. Like other liners, it does not have a replaceable refill! This is normal, I' m just warning “first-time buyers“ to know this in advance.
