I've never had an electric toothbrush, but there was a sale, so I tried it out. And it's just different - it cleans my teeth great, no plaque, and I feel like I spend less time brushing. A little strange at first is the feeling of vibrations in the mouth and on the teeth. It's easy to get used to, the exposed nipples didn't hurt me. The toothbrush can actually last about 20 days when cleaned twice a day. Only it takes quite a long time to recharge (about 8-9 hours from min to max). overall I am satisfied, it cleans perfectly and you get used to the vibration as well as to a slightly different grip technique than with a classic brush
cleans perfectly, teeth are beautifully smooth, you don't feel any plaque
faster than a classic toothbrush

Indeed, the "new generation" is completely different from the older models, both in behaviour - status signalling and in the feeling when cleaning. The product is exactly as described and pictured. Great satisfaction.

After many years with Curaprox manual toothbrushes, I decided to buy a sonic toothbrush. Because of my exposed molars, my dentist recommended not a regular electric ( rotary ) but a sonic. After 3 months of use I am completely satisfied. The plaque on my teeth is almost gone, which was confirmed at the dental hygiene. Bought on sale for 1700, - Compared to the sonic brush from the 4100 series, which I also own, this one has a better battery life and an extra whitening function.
cleans really better than regular brushes
easy handling
price without action

I wouldn't expect such a difference from the old type, which has been retired after more than seven years. The new motor is stronger and quieter, the brush is better to hold overall, lasts longer on a charge and looks better. Two modes without intensity settings are enough, unless you have problems with tooth sensitivity. The new white mode is the same as the older massage. It can be charged on an older charger. Overall, I'm thrilled. I was choosing between this 5500 and the 5300 series, they are almost the same, I took the one that was just cheaper. The lower 4xxx and 3xxx series have a different older type engine and I wouldn't consider those at all (budget permitting). I've never used a travel case. It's a bit of a pain to choose a suitable head for myself and I personally ended up with the a3 - they are large and soft and the bristles are in a rubber head (there is no annoying feeling when the toothbrush is caught on a tooth).

It is great, I like attention to small details like the plastic that is nice to the touch, or the motor starting not instantly, but with a small ramp up.

I bought a slightly higher end sonic toothbrush after 3 years. If my main button hadn't broken I would have kept using it. I've had this new one for 14 days so far and it's working fine.
Cleans well
3 battery indicator dots
The size and shape of the brush head is ideal for me
Compared to the older generation, this toothbrush has a slicker body surface
