This is my first steamer, no experience to compare it with, but I’m super happy I bought it. If you need to iron something quickly (probably not bedding), it’s much easier (and more fun) than an iron. The mat is big help, especially for heavily wrinkled areas, don’t buy without a mat, unless you have a board. First time steaming it sprinkled water, if I moved it fast, but then I learned how to move it gently, and now it doesn’t spit on the clothes.
