You must stick the foil in a really clean, dust-free environment and let it dry for a LONG time (at least 30 minutes! ). This will prevent any potential problems.

You don't press as hard on the screen because the pencil doesn't slide on the rough surface
I end up using the iPad without it. Unless you're using the tablet mainly for pencil writing, it's not worth the drop in display quality and poorer text contrast.
