However, I consider the size of the connector to be the biggest drawback and unpleasant surprise: you can't really get a 3.6mm jack into a cd player. and there is no warning about the need to BUY the reduction.
So after the shock of the connector , which can only really be plugged into a narrower selection of electronics, I bought a 3.5mm reduction and then (if it's complete) a lightning for iPhone . The OEM audio 6.3mm JACK --> 3.5mm JACK -- AlzaPower Lightning MFi (M) to 3.5mm Jack (F) 0.1m reduction assembly was not tight in its connection, so at the slightest movement of the cables the sound immediately dropped out. I returned both the Panasonic RP-HTF295E-K headphones and the adapter kit.

The headphones are not overbassed and have beautiful and clear sound reproduction. It outperforms probably all headphones in its price range and even sounds better than a large number of significantly more expensive headphones.
