I recently purchased this achievement of our modern science and technology and advanced market economy. After two grinds I found the main advantage of this top product: guaranteed to make you crave anything with poppy seeds. If you have the chance, get a good old grinder from your grandmother, don't buy this stuff! It looks solid compared to other plastic crap, but that's about it. Washing two hoppers of poppies is a job for half an hour with a lot of nerves. The grinder grinds for a while, it doesn't grind for a while, I don't know if I had some bad poppy seeds with too big grains, which were not according to EU standards for which this machine is apparently dimensioned, but I just had to push it into the hole in the hopper with my finger because it didn't fall there by itself. The crank is loose, the spring is probably weak, the grinder does not hold properly on the table top even if you really force the screw, rather you make a hole in the table (probably the mounting surface is crooked and the grinder keeps wobbling and threatens to fall off. ).
metal body, can be used as a table weight
you'll be craving anything with poppy seeds and save money on poppy seeds
We were happy to find an old, high-quality cast iron grinder like my grandmother had.
Well, my first surprise was the small hopper when we took the machine out of the box. That' s one or two poppy seed buns per hopper.: -/ Well, before you grinded the entire hopper, you waited for that. It' s good for a movie in the evening or, instead of a puck, stick it in a drill.: -D Then I wondered about the pressure spring that was supposed to determine the level of pressure. It was located on the shaft between the handle and the body of the robot. Grind something harder and it just loosens up. A solution to nothing. Lever clearance was next. The diameter of the hole in the bal lever is 2 mm larger than the diameter of the shaft on which it was mounted. It was enough for a tent.: -( Next was the attachment to the table. Max it went on a plate with a thickness of 35 mm. With the fact that the plate is 20*40mm in size and on a plate where I have rounded edges with an R10 milling machine, it only held about 3 turns of the lever.
It is cast iron and has a real wooden handle.
Crank engagement clearance.
The spring that holds the grinding pressure.
Little by little. It' s for a long time.
The handle for the chair does not fit a 40mm board, and if you have a board with rounded edges, this is also a problem.
