Certainly a good idea, the results were not good.
Definitely do not recommend for carrying as the pad sags and stays saggy/curly
Aluminum surface is uncomfortable - such a grind
The faux leather is better, but puts up quite a bit of resistance. In addition, the pad needs to be secured more thoroughly against sliding on the table. And not only with rubber feet on the sides, but also in the front, so that it doesn't bend. It's a cool pad, but I wouldn't buy it again
I work on the computer 10h a day +. After ten minutes, it starts to blacken from mouse, sweat, whatever. After 4 days I threw it away, because washing it every two hours with alcohol so that it wouldn't look like it had been there for half a century really didn't amuse me. In addition, it gets oily very quickly in several places of the greatest use and looks really bad (used with Logitech mx master 2s)
