I bought mainly for business trips. The luminous flux of 700 Lm is sufficient for working meetings with 10 people. In a bright room projection on 1m width OK, home cinema in a darkened room cool 2m width. It plays photos and movies on its own, you don't need a computer.
On older AVI formats it froze (restart).
You can pause the video, but you cannot fast-forward it.
