Despite a few minuses, for the price, it's a perfect lens and still one of my favorites for casual shooting. 80% of the time this lens is on the camera.
perfect direct for APS-C (behaves like 52.5mm)
perfect for portrait and product photography
at f1.8 there is a noticeable chromatic aberration, but this can be removed in lightroom with one click.
a little noisier AF

On APS-C DSLRs it is equivalent to 50mm (so ideal for portraits)
Good brightness f/1.8

good quality versus price performance
with the D7000, it focuses slightly beyond the focus plane (I'll have to adjust it in the camera)
